In this episode, we interview our first guest, Phillip Campbell III, author and speaker. He recently has written a history program geared at homeschoolers called The Story of Civilization. A self professed history nerd, Phillip shares the nature of his program, and some of his other projects. He talks about presenting history without being boring. And he gets schooled on not saying “it sucks” on our podcast.

Also, we discussed the sad fact that Homeschool Connections doesn't offer parents classes. It's a lie. Here's the info from their website:
WHO CAN TAKE HOMESCHOOLCONNECTIONS.COM COURSES?
Primarily, the courses are intended for middle and high school students. We have recently added grade school courses, designed to be taken alongside parents.
Also, we receive interest from adults who would like to audit our classes. Adults are welcomed to take HomeschoolConnections.com recorded, independent-learning courses through our Unlimited Access or Single Access programs. Adults are not allowed to participate in the live, interactive courses. "
And I will include the link for several of their recorded talks as well:
